Young people of the Beysk region have prospects on the Mairykhsky open pit mine

On the eve of the meeting between the Beisk region’s youth and representative of authority and business was held a conversation about the support of youth initiatives by the administration of the Beisk region, the State Committee for Youth Affairs of Khakassia, and the employment center.

Representatives of the Mairykhsky open pit mine spoke to the youth, who told about the prospects for the development of the industry and social guarantees at the enterprise.

In addition, coal miners talked about the promising need for young workers and specialists in connection with the increase of coal mining volume.

Thus, at the Mairykhsky open pit mine, the volume of coal production was increased three times in one year: from 450 thousand tons in 2016 up to 1,8 million tons in 2017. In 2018, the enterprise plans to reach coal-mining volume to 3 million tons and by 2020 to increase its production up to 5 million tons of coal per year.

The increasing coal production entails an increase in the number of employees. The actual number of staff by now is 400 people. As for coal production volume for 5 million tons per year will be required from 150 to 200 additional workers.

Just because the development of the site is done in an open-pit way using modern mining transport equipment, that is why in the near future the most popular professions will be: drivers of dump trucks with a carrying capacity for 130 and 220 tons; machinists of a hydraulic excavators with a bucket capacity from 2,5 to 25 cubic meters; machinists of a tracked and wheeled bulldozers.

For two years, from 2018 to 2020, about 100 people will be employed only by these professions.

It will also be required workers and engineering and technical personnel for crushing, sorting, preparation and loading the coal, maintenance of mining transport equipment and machinery.
